Valencia Town Center
LLG developed a shared parking model to guide the phased build out of the Town Center, comprised of 364,000 sqft of office, retail and restaurants, a 3,000-seat cinema, 250-room hotel, 54,000 sqft health club and a multi-family residential development.
LLG adapted ratios and time-of-day profiles from nationally published studies and combined them with an extensive Southern California database. Ratios and profiles were also developed for unique categories or sub-categories of land use types.
Subsequent studies and on-going work provided updates to prior shared parking analyses, evaluated existing actual parking operational aspects, allocations and interactions between sub-areas (which were not included in previous studies) and developed recommendations on where and how to allocate and manage spaces.
