Chris J. Mendiara – Associate Principal – San Diego

Mr. Mendiara’s professional expertise is based in traffic engineering and transportation planning. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with an emphasis in Urban and Regional Analysis from San Diego State University and has 17 years of professional transportation planning experience. His range of work includes scope preparation, data collection and analysis, assessment of impacts on all modes of transportation, analysis of physical and operational mitigation measures, and report preparation. He is responsible for representing projects at public hearings and other public meetings. His responsibilities include the review of traffic model volume forecasting, intersection operations, signal warrant and safety analyses, neighborhood traffic calming studies, and development of transportation demand management (TDM) plans.
