CEDARS-SINAI MEDICAL CENTER MASTER PLAN

LLG evaluated the potential traffic impacts of a proposed 700,000 square-foot expansion of the 1.2 million square-foot Medical Center campus for purposes of the Master Plan EIR. LLG currently provides on-going consultation with respect to site logistics during construction, employee parking, patient/visitor parking, emergency vehicle access, pedestrian circulation, transit bus routing, service vehicle access, etc. LLG is involved in the campus-wide Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program to ensure the achievement of City-mandated trip reduction targets.

SAN DIEGO ZOO

LLG was retained by the Zoological Society to develop a comprehensive conceptual plan to increase parking supply, improve access and circulation for all travel modes, as well as reduce potential conflicts and enhance safety. The project involved an assessment of existing conditions in the vicinity at key access locations. LLG evaluated and assessed the pros and cons of several concept plans based on comparisons to existing operating conditions. Issues reviewed included entrance/exit capacities, vehicle queue storage, internal circulation, drop-off/pick-up design, handicap parking, bus circulation, etc.

SEAWORLD OF CALIFORNIA

LLG has been retained annually by Sea World since 1996 to assist with issues concerning access, circulation, and safety enhancements in response to changing annual and peak period attendance figures. LLG's recent consultation included developing proposals for three unique alternative concept plans, ranging from low cost signing and striping modifications to large-scale, longer term infrastructure improvements. LLG evaluated and assessed the pros and cons of each concept plan based on comparisons with existing operating conditions.
