Evaluated operations at over 56 off-site locations and recommended a comprehensive mitigation program. Worked with local transportation officials and adjoining communities to address concerns regarding intrusion of regional trips through neighborhoods. LLG is involved in the Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program to ensure the achievement of City-mandated trip reduction targets.
CITY OF PASADENA
Prepared analyses throughout the City including many of the City's Specific Plans (West Gateway, South Fair Oaks Avenue, North Lake Avenue). Prepared EIR traffic analyses for the Arroyo Seco Master Plan and the Rose Bowl Renovation Project. Prepared a comprehensive Master Plan analysis for traffic and parking issues for the Huntington Memorial Hospital campus.
QUALCOMM STADIUM
LLG prepared a Traffic and Parking Management Plan for the expansion of Qualcomm Stadium. The scope of work included an assessment of existing roadway conditions and stadium access. The report anticipated the future usage of the San Diego Trolley and analyzed the proposed stadium information and monitoring system project. A detailed review of the on-site and off-site parking impacts and neighborhood and shopping center parking intrusion was conducted.
SAN DIEGO CONVENTION CENTER
LLG prepared the comprehensive traffic impact study and parking management and monitoring program for the expansion of the San Diego Convention Center (SDCC). An analysis of numerous key intersections and street segments was conducted in both the short-term and horizon-year time frames with a focus on potential impacts to Harbor Drive. A detailed daily parking supply/demand study was conducted to determine the SDCC parking rate, the anticipated parking deficits and the frequency of which those deficits would occur. Consultation also included several presentations to the San Diego Port District Board of Commissioners.
