J. PAUL GETTY TRUST - THE GETTY CENTER AND THE GETTY VILLA

LLG provides on-going consultation on traffic, access and circulation and parking issues for their world class museum facilities in Malibu and Brentwood. Consultation involves on-going coordination and communication with adjacent residential area representatives and local transportation officials.

MGM MIRAGE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

LLG has prepared site access, internal circulation and parking studies associated with various MGM Mirage properties in Las Vegas and Detroit including the MGM Grand Las Vegas, MGM Grand Detroit, Mandalay Bay and New York-New York properties. LLG works with teams of architects and urban planners to establish roadway infrastructure requirements, vehicular access locations and parking capacity to accommodate future growth.

SAN YSIDRO BORDER STATION PORT OF ENTRY

LLG obtained a comprehensive database of existing traffic conditions for the existing border station and directed regional modeling efforts in order to develop future border crossing projects. LLG actively participated in numerous design charrettes to develop master plan options for the border station, all of which involved relocating southbound traffic to the El Chaperral area entrance to Mexico. LLG proposed and developed tandem booths for the entry to the U.S. LLG assisted in the review and evaluation of the geometric layouts for auto, SENTRI lanes, and bus access.

SR163/FRIARS ROAD INTERCHANGE

LLG conducted a comprehensive analysis of this interchange for the City of San Diego in cooperation with Caltrans. The analysis included existing conditions, 2030 future conditions, as well as the development and analysis of project alternatives. The project reflects the analysis of the interchange itself as well as the SR 163 corridor between Friars Road and I-8. Consultation included a recordation of existing freeway merge/weave occurrences and development of strategies to eliminate or simplify the current freeway weaving patterns.
